Formed in 2014, EMB Management Ltd. ("EMB") is a consulting firm providing project development, project execution, engineering, construction management, and construction inspection services to oil and gas and infrastructure clients throughout the world.

EMB's management team has extensive experience in delivering complex oil and gas projects around the world, with a particular focus on construction and operation requirements.

Our approach is based on flexibility and responsiveness. We understand that rapid adaptability is essential in the fast-paced world of project management. As such, we are committed to providing our clients with the vital information they need just when they need it, supporting decision making from project inception to successful completion.

Our experience focuses on concept development, detailed design, construction, and commissioning of projects in the oil and gas utility sectors, particularly pipelines and facilities. But we don't just limit ourselves to specialization, we also focus on leadership. We don't just follow industry trends, we aspire to set them.

In 2021, EMB joined OEC group of energy and infrastructure companies. OEC serves the electricity distribution, infrastructure, energy, and renewable energy generation sectors. Meet our executive team

Eric Larson

General Manager

Eric Larson is a Project Management Professional with over 30 years of experience in the utility industry. Eric Larson has managed large-scale projects in many jurisdictions in Western Canada, including Vancouver Island, mainland British Columbia and Alberta. Eric’s construction and project management-based career gives him a unique focus on the safe installation of underground utility infrastructure.

Kaitlyn Garnier

Senior Manager, Business Services

Kaitlyn has over 14 years of experience with office administration and business services. Prior to EMB, Kaitlyn was a Business Operations Manager at a Health Service company where she oversaw all aspects of facilities management, business expenditures and IT/telecommunication services. She has been with EMB since 2018 and is responsible for multiple lines of business allowing senior leadership to grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures.

Caroline Jean “Jeannie” Falstead

Director of Indigenous Initiative

Caroline Jean Falstead, citizen of the Namgis First Nation leads EMB’s Indigenous Relations. Jeannie’s previous experience in this area include over 20 years in the utility sector, Gold PAR certification while managing BC Hydro’s Aboriginal Education and Employment Strategy resulting in over 300 local Indigenous hires across a variety of career opportunities, including skilled trades, power line technicians, electricians, and engineers.

Clinton Windhorst

Director of Engineering & PMO

Clinton has over 15 years of experience in the utilities industry ranging from pipeline and facility design, project management, integrity management, standards and quality assurance, field operations, contract management, business strategy, and enterprise contract development through strategic sourcing. Clinton is a Project Management Professional, a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia and Alberta, and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance.

Regan Pinette

Director of Field Services

Regan has over 25 years of experience in the Canadian natural gas industry. Prior to joining EMB Management, Mr. Pinette was in a Senior Management role for one of Western Canada’s largest gas installation contractors. In this position he was responsible for multiple operating divisions generating revenues in excess of $25 million annually and with a strong focus on customer relationships and high-quality service delivery. His extensive knowledge of technical field installations offers EMB and their clients confidence that projects will be delivered safely, within budgetary parameters and schedules.
